Dr. S. R. Lasker Library, EWU, observed National Library Day 2026 on 5 February with a series of meaningful activities aligned with this year’s national theme, “Knowledge for liberation, foundation for the future" (জ্ঞানেই মুক্তি, আগামীর ভিত্তি”).

Dr. S. R. Lasker Library, East West University, successfully organized Bangladesh’s first-ever IFLA Training Workshop titled “Measurement, Evaluation, and Demonstrating Impact of Library Services” on December 22–23, 2025.

On 20 November 2025, Dr. S. R. Lasker Library organized a special session titled “Scholarly Communication and Citation Skills: Essentials for Academic Success” for senior students of the Department of Social Relations engaged in research work.

Members of the Bangladesh Television (BTV) Library and IT team visited the Dr. S. R. Lasker Library at East West University on 03 November 2025 to explore its resources, services, and innovative practices.
