East West University Library observed National Library Day 2020 on 05 February 2020 aiming at building an educated and enlightened nation and making the people more Library oriented. In this year, the slogan of the day is Porbo Boi Gorbo Desh, Bangabandhur Bangladesh (We will read books and create Bangabandhu's Bangladesh).
EWU Library observed this day with the following series of programs:
- Joining central rally from Sufia Kamal Central Library, Shahbag, Dhaka as a part of observing National Library Day organized by Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh
- Library decoration including the main entrance, banners, posters for conveying the message of the day as well as the importance of library in daily life, education and research
- Round the week special users service, instant library membership, library orientation, information literacy and awareness-building campaign
- Essay competition and prize distribution
- Best Library Users Award for the Faculty Members (Male & Female) and Students (Male & Female)
