East West University Library organized 2 days program to observe International Open Access Week 2018. International Open Access Week is a global, community-driven week of action to open up access to research.
Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) team visited East West University Library on 16 October, 2018 to know the details about the activities and services provided to its users. The team consists of three Library and IT officials of GUB.
Department Wise Resource Portal was Inaugurated at EWU Library on 22 October 2018 by Professor Dr. Fakrul Alam, Pro-Vice Chancellor, East West University.
Ms. Beatrice Kaldun, UNESCO Country Representative in Bangladesh and MS. Kirsty Crawford, Project Director, Library Unlimited, British Council visited EWU Library on 30 October 2018. Professor Dr. Md. Nasiruddin, Dean, National University, Bangladesh was also present there.
East West University Library observed the National Library Day on 05 February 2019 aiming at building an educated and enlightened nation and making the people more library-oriented. The theme of the National Library Day 2019 is "গ্রন্থাগারে বই পড়ি আলোকিত মানুষ গড়ি".
