EWU Library team celebrated International Open Access Week 2016 on 24 October 2016 at 4:00-5:00 pm at EWU Library. In this regard EWU Library arranged an in-house program and discussion session with Library personnel on Open Access for research community.

Maintenance of EWU Library is about to finished. Considering user convenience, full-fledged services has been started at EWU Main Library from 17 July 2018. Circulation Section has already been relocated from Boys' and Girls' Common room to main library.
EWU Library started EBSCO Discovery Service through UGC Digital Library Consortium from Summer 2018. Online research tool that “pulls together” almost all of our Library resources (books, e-books, journal articles, etc.) using a single search box.
