Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) team visited East West University Library on 16 October, 2018 to know the details about the activities and services provided to its users. The team consists of three Library and IT officials of GUB.
During their visit, Md. Mamun-Or-Rashid, Senior Assistant Librarian, presented the resources, services and trending technologies organized in EWU Library website. Several newly introduced services of EWU Library attracted the GUB team, such as online article request services, self-renewal service, citation management service, Liberation War Corner website and the department wise e-resource management which has been introduced first time in Bangladesh. The GUB team were highly encouraged to know the services and wished to use this knowledge to organize their resources and services implement this kind of services. In this connection the team leader Mr. Md. Ashiqur Rahman Deputy Librarian Green University of Bangladesh said "What we are thinking, you people have already implemented and run smoothly in your library”. After the presentation, knowledge sharing session held between EWU and GUB library team. Ms. Shaharima Parvin , Assistant Librarian Mr. Md. Abdul Latif , Library Circulation Officer joined this whole session.
The team also visited different sections of library and became highly pleased to see the library environment and organized resources in different sections of library.
