Closing ceremony of workshop on koha and dspace held on 11 June 2015 at East West University. Professor Ahmed Shafee, Vice Chancellor, East West University graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Dr. Dilara Begum, Librarian, Head of Library, East West University and General Secretary, Digital Library Network of South Asia (DLNetSA) coordinated the program. Professor Ahmed Shafee discussed about importance of digital library in enhancing quality education. He also emphasized on the sustainability of digital library in Bangladesh.

Basing on the concept “Digital Library for Digital Bangladesh”, East West university library disposed a training workshop on “Application of Greenstone Digital Library Software for building Digital Library” from 28 to 31 December 2010 at Bangladesh Public Administration Training Center (BPATC), Savar, and Dhaka.

Automation and digitization are the two valuable and inter-related key elements for establishing a multifaceted modern library system & services for serving the intellectual community with latest information in an efficient manner.
