Course on Research Methodology

SAARC Documentation Centre (SDC), New Delhi, India is one of the Regional Centers of SAARC. It acts as an effective information system for the SAARC member states that enables exchange of information in different fields. Human resource development is an important activity of SDC. It conducts short term and attachment training programmes in information technology applications for library/documentation/information professionals in the Member States.

East West University in collaboration with SAARC Documentation Centre (SDC), New Delhi, India is going to organize ‘Ten Days Course on Research Methodology’ from 15th to 25th September 2014 at East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. East West University Library is acting as the focal point of the course. This course is meant for researchers, Faculty members, M.Phil and Ph.D students.
 
Total participants of the course will be 30 (thirty). Two nominations will be accepted from each member state (16 participants) by SAARC secretariat and rest of the 14 participants will be accepted from Bangladesh. Resource persons will join from India and Bangladesh. The training programme will be sponsored by SDC and there is no registration fee. This course includes training kits, course materials working lunch, tea etc. The participants will be selected by the Coordination Committee.
 
The Researcher/Librarian/Faculty member/M. Phil and Ph D student may apply for this course. The applicants are requested to send their application to dilara@ewubd.edu on or before 07 September, 2014.
