On 20 November 2025, Dr. S. R. Lasker Library organized a special session titled “Scholarly Communication and Citation Skills: Essentials for Academic Success” for senior students of the Department of Social Relations engaged in research work.
On 10 December 2025, Dr. S. R. Lasker Library organized a session titled “From Academic Librarianship to Global Leadership: A Session with Emily Drabinski.” The program was chaired by Professor Dr. Dilara Begum, Librarian (In-charge).
Dr. S. R. Lasker Library, East West University, successfully organized Bangladesh’s first-ever IFLA Training Workshop titled“Measurement, Evaluation, and Demonstrating Impact of Library Services”on December 22–23, 2025.
Dr. S. R. Lasker Library, EWU, observed National Library Day 2026 on 5 February with a series of meaningful activities aligned with this year’s national theme, “Knowledge for liberation, foundation for the future" (জ্ঞানেই মুক্তি, আগামীর ভিত্তি”).
The Dr. S. R. Lasker Library, East West University, celebrated Open Education Week in 2026, from March 2 to March 5. The Library engaged with the EWU community both online and offline to promote important concepts related to open education.
