Dr. S. R. Lasker Library, East West University celebrated Open Education Week 2024 (#oeweek) from March 4-8. Open Education Week is an annual event launched in 2012 by Open Education Global, which aims to promote open education and its positive impact on teaching and learning.

East West University (EWU) Library organized an enlightening discussion session on the advantages of subscribing to Springer Nature eBooks for faculty members and students. The event took place on June 12, 2023, at 3:00 PM at the Reserve Section (Annex) of the EWU Library.

UNESCO created International Literacy Day in 1967 to bring attention to this issue and it has been celebrated annually on 8th September ever since.
