Peer Review Week 2025
September 15-19
Theme: Rethinking Peer Review in the AI Era
Peer Review Week (PRW) is a global moment to celebrate, challenge, and evolve the vital practice of peer review. It started as a small awareness initiative and has now become a global event, bringing together researchers, editors, publishers, technologists, librarians, and institutions.
Last Year at EWU:
In 2024, we launched an awareness campaign titled "Avoiding Predatory Publishing", aimed at newly appointed faculty and young researchers. Our booth exhibit offered insights into peer review’s role in maintaining research standards, identifying predatory journals, and the use of AI in review processes.
This Year’s Celebration Includes:
- Daily Poll – One question each day on peer review and AI. Participate in person or online!
- Curated Reading List – Discover open access articles, guides, and videos on peer review and AI.
Let’s rethink the future of scholarly communication together!
