Abstract: 

More than two-fifths of the children in Bangladesh are stunted or wasted. The prevalence of stunting and wasting is severe among poor children. The progress achieved in reducing the inequalities in the distribution of child health, over time in Bangladesh, is highly unsatisfactory.
