East West University Library organized a training session on SciFinder Academy Discover Platform for the faculty members of the Department of Pharmacy on 16 March 2023 at 3:00 PM at Library Annex. The purpose of this session was to improve their knowledge and skills concerning the platform's new features. Esteemed speakers, Andrew Mckay and Jo-An Chia from the American Chemical Society, conducted this session and highlighted the new and effective features of SciFinder.
Dr. Dilara Begum, Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of Information Studies and Librarian (In-Charge) chaired this session. Professor, Dr. Chowdhury Faiz Hossain and other faculty members of the Department of Pharmacy were in attendance. Approximately 30 participants, including admin staff and intern students were present during the session.
