I am delighted to welcome you to the 17th International Conference on Webometrics, Informetrics and Scientometrics (WIS) and the 22nd COLLNET Meeting, 2023, taking place from December 08-10 at East West Univeristy, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Organized by COLLNET in association with Society for Library Professionals (SLP) and Special Libraries Association (SLA), Asia Community and hosted by East West University Library, this event continues the two-decade tradition of sharing insights and breakthroughs in these fields. For the first time, this prestigious event will be hosted by East-West University Library, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Catering to everyone's needs, we are adopting a hybrid format this year, meaning you can participate either in person or online.
The conference aims to facilitate networking, discussion, and collaboration among librarians, information professionals, researchers, and practitioners. The broad aim of the conference is collaboration and communication in science and technology; science policy; quantitative aspects of science of science; and combination and integration of qualitative and quantitative approaches in study of scientific practices.
