In alignment with UNESCO’s global initiative, Dr. S. R. Lasker Library proudly celebrated Digital Learning Week 2025, held from 2 to 5 September.
This year’s theme, “AI and the Future of Education: Disruptions, Dilemmas and Directions”, focused on the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence in reshaping education systems, while critically examining ethical concerns such as digital surveillance, algorithmic bias, and human accountability.
As part of the celebration, the library engaged students by distributing informative leaflets that explored key ethical issues surrounding AI in education. The initiative aimed to raise awareness, spark dialogue, and promote responsible and inclusive integration of technology in learning environments.
We invited all members of the academic community to reflect on the future of education in the age of AI and to join the global conversation on building equitable and human-centered digital learning systems.
