To ensure the ultimate objectives of PPP, identifying the critical success factors (CSFs) of PPP implementation is crucial. Based on both secondary and primary data, the paper first presents a conceptual clarification of PPP and then argues that good governance, commitment of the public and private sectors, favorable legal framework, sound economic policy and availability of finance market are the top five CSFs of PPP implementation in Bangladesh. The paper finally provides a discussion on the directions for future research
