Income Tax Regulations for New Entrepreneurs: A Critical Review

Abstract: 

A proactive taxation policy could be instrumental in entrepreneurship development in a developing country like Bangladesh. This paper aims at making a critical review of the existing income lax rules and regulations affecting the entrepreneurs. Income Tax Regulations in Bangladesh pay less attention to facilitate investments and to induce new entrepreneurs in setting up businesses. The paper makes an effort to identify the loopholes that exist in the current regulations and attempts to provide a set o[ recommendations so as to assist policy makers make the laws more beneficial and effective for the new entrepreneurs.
